The former personal attorney for Donald Trump has left her position as the US Attorney for New Jersey. This comes after a judicial decision that challenged her eligibility to occupy the role.

US Attorney General, Pam Bondi, confirmed the prosecutor's departure on Monday. Bondi stated that the appeals court finding made it impossible for the official to perform her duties.
"But do not mistake compliance for surrender," Habba stated. "The effort will now reach across America."

The 41-year-old attorney, was initially recruited to the former president's legal defense in recent years. Subsequently, she acted for Trump in his business records case in New York last year, when he was conviction on 34 counts of document fraud.
